| This guide will cover what the best enchants for your Paladin by slot. This guide assumes that you are defense capped at 540 defense, if you are not, then you may want to take any defense enchants that may have not made their way to the #1 slot.
Please keep in mind that some things in this guide are only for specific professions, they are labeled so there is no confusion. This guide covers not only enchants but everything that is considered an item enhancement.
Some players treat Paladin tanks like Warrior tanks and this is where they get into trouble by putting inefficient enchants or item enhancement on their tanking items. Unlike Warriors, Paladins receive a greater boost from agility, not a big boost from Shield Block like Warriors, and have more value in Defense than Warriors do as you can see below that the enchant priorities are different for a Paladin in some areas.

Paladins receive a bigger bonus from agility than DK's or Pallies and don't get the benefit of Armor that those classes get.
